Arsenal’s comfortable victory in this year’s FA Cup Final was, of course, a great achievement for the soccer club’s long-serving manager Arsene Wenger and the team he has assembled with rather less free spending than his counterparts at some other leading Premier League organizations. That is something of a contrast with Emirates, the Middle East airline that sponsors both Arsenal’s shirts and the stadium where the team plays its home games. Only established in the mid-1980s, the airline has grown rapidly with the help of the enormous wealth of the United Arab Emirates to become one of the leaders in a highly-competitive market.
