Yikes. I’ve got some work to do.
We’re in love with this new calculator (below) that charts your retirement savings progress. But, my results were not so good.
Just plug in your income, age and your current savings. It does all of the work.
I’ve been playing around with it this afternoon and under no scenario will I be able to retire with my current saving’s rate. Luckily, because I’m only 28, they suggest I increase my savings by $50/month to make it happen. Seems doable enough.
