In trading on Tuesday, non-precious metals & non-metallic mining shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 3.7%. Leading the group were shares of Thompson Creek Metals Company (TC), up about 17.6% and shares of Vale (VALE) up about 7.2% on the day.
