Petrol prices plummet at Asda

Drivers can fill up their cars for less than a pound a litre for the first time since 2007, thanks to a discount this weekend at Asda.

Despite intentions to shun this year’s Black Friday, the supermarket will treat customers anyway this weekend by knocking 4p off unleaded petrol, driving the cost down to 99.7p a litre. Diesel drivers can fill up for 103.7p a litre.
