Motorists filling up today will pay less for diesel at Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Tesco as the supermarkets have cut prices to under £1 per litre.
Morrisons kicked off the price war, cutting diesel prices to 99.7p per litre yesterday. It claims to be the first retailer to bring the price of its diesel to below the £1 mark in six years.
