Big-six energy providers are taking customers “for granted”, with 70% of their customers stuck on the most expensive variable tariffs, according to the interim findings of a long-awaited investigation into the energy market.
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) found that those who don’t switch are typically being overcharged £300/year, compared to the best deals.
