To know me in any capacity is to know how inappropriately obsessed I am with Wawa.
Familiar with the brand from trips to see family in New Jersey, I literally jumped up and down with glee when I heard the company was building locations down here in Florida.
I even judged its brew the very best of the 10 gas station coffees I sampled. (Yes, that’s a lot of gas station coffee. Hey, you can’t say I’m not devoted to this job!)
So obviously, I already had its free rewards app downloaded on my phone. But if you don’t, now’s the time — even if you’re not an at-least-once-a-day Wawa fanatic like I am.
Wawa just announced its Fall Free for All promotion, which will provide “millions of freebies and surprises” to its Wawa Rewards members.
The company states that this is a “record number of giveaways” — “the largest in the history of the Wawa Rewards program,” in fact. Every Wawa Rewards member who has a registered gift card can expect a freebie each week for nine weeks, Oct. 10 through Dec. 12.

Wawa Announces Fall Free for All Promotion, Starting October 10
All you need to do is download Wawa’s app to your iPhone or Android device. Although the app itself is free, to take part in the promotion, you’ll need to load some money onto a digital gift card.
But if you’re anything like me, you’re already spending some money at Wawa each month. Using a rewards app like this one will stabilize exactly how much of your budget is going toward that sweet Wawa java.
It’s a little bit like envelope budgeting: If you load $15 or $50 onto your card, you know exactly how much you’ve spent — and how much you have left — as opposed to just blindly swiping each morning. (Trust me, that habit can really add up!)
Plus, when you use the Rewards app, you’ll get, well, rewarded for the money you’re already spending. Plus, the app tracks how close you are to your next freebie, as well as providing store information and even nutrition facts.
And during the Fall Free for All, you’ll get guaranteed freebies… even if you don’t regularly spend money at Wawa.
Here’s what the company has planned:
- October: Fall Freebies — all Wawa Rewards members will receive a free Wawa favorite each week, including a free 16 oz. handcrafted latte, a free Shorti Hoagie and a free Sizzli, starting Oct. 10.
- November: Free Coffee Fridays — every Friday in November, Wawa Rewards members can enjoy one free coffee.
- December: 12 Days of Rewards — from Dec. 1 to Dec. 12, Wawa Rewards members can enjoy free treats and special offers.
You’ll earn your first reward just for signing up and adding your gift card to the app.
The lowest dollar amount you can add to a gift card is $15, so if you don’t think you’ll spend that much at Wawa, this might not be the deal for you.
But if you can’t get enough of Wawa’s delicious Columbian roast, mini marshmallows or cream cheese-stuffed pretzels…
