Sign Up for Nielsen Homescan — They’ll Pay You to Share What’s in Your Fridge

Who’s hungry?

Nielsen — the same company that pays families to report the TV shows they’re watching — has started a new venture called Nielsen Homescan, which pays families to report the purchases they make at the grocery store each week.

Once you sign up with Homescan, the company will send you a free scanner. Every time you go shopping, you simply scan the barcodes on the back of each product and send your data off to Nielsen.

You’ll earn gift points which you can redeem for different types of merchandise, including electronics, jewelry, household items and toys. The longer you stay on the panel, the more opportunity you have to earn points toward prizes.

You also receive entries for the panel’s many sweepstakes with prizes that include money, vacations and vehicles.

Besides, you’re going to the grocery store anyway, right?

Whet your appetite for sweet prizes by downloading Nielsen Homescan.
