Where Amazon Is Hiring Seasonal Workers
Amazon is hiring workers in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

Seasonal Job Opportunities at Amazon
Like permanent full-time and part-time employees, seasonal workers are eligible for benefits.
Seasonal jobs and pay rates vary by location, but here are a few examples of what’s available.
Seasonal Fresh Associate
Fresh Associates fill grocery orders in chilly or downright freezing environments. According to the job description, temperatures in the order-processing facilities can drop below 32 degrees!
Applicants must read and take direction in English, lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for 10 to 12 hours per day.

Warehouse Associate
Warehouse Associates pull and pack orders, unload truck shipments and move merchandise.
Applicants should be willing to operate carts, hand trucks, and industrial truck equipment for 10 to 12 hours per day. Warehouses may be noisy at times and indoor temperatures can range from 60 to 90 degrees.
Applicants must be willing to work any shift and overtime as required.

Sortation Associate
Sortation Associates sort packages by zip code, build and wrap pallets of packages, and move merchandise using dollies, carts, hand trucks and other moving equipment.
Applicants must be able to lift up to 49 pounds and work on a secure platform up to 40 feet high.

These Seasonal Amazon Jobs Could Become Permanent
People who work seasonal jobs at Amazon may have an advantage when it comes to snagging a permanent job after the holidays.
