Speaking of big data success stories – which I was just last week – I got a chance to head down to the Hadoop Summit in San Jose last week. While it more closely resembled a Hortonworks user conference than an industry trade show – not that there’s anything wrong with that – there was a customer panel on Thursday that really solidified the value of Hadoop.
